The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce has served the communities of Kitchener, Waterloo, and the Township of Woolwich since 1886 when the Berlin Board of Trade was first established. Since the the Greater KW Chamber has served as the voice of business in the greater Kitchener-Waterloo area and currently is one of the largest chambers of commerce in Canada with over 1800 member businesses.
Since 1973 Cambridge Chamber of Commerce has served the business community’s interests, dedicated to the highest standard of service to its members. Dating back to the founding of the Galt Board of Trade in 1924, the Cambridge Chamber continues to actively promote and advocate for the local business community in an increasingly global marketplace.
Waterloo EDC is an independent, not-for-profit organization funded primarily by the Region of Waterloo and seven area municipalities: The cities of Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge, and the Townships of Wellesley, Woolwich, North Dumfries, and Wilmot.

Communitech is Waterloo Region’s technology hub and innovation centre, and is home to hundreds of local startups that are making a major impact on the world. Since its founding in 1997 Communitech has helped develop a tech cluster in Waterloo Region of nearly 1,000 companies that now generates more than $30 billion in revenue.
